Beat Factor Drum Workshops

Join Beat Factor Drum for weekly workshops where intermediate to advanced drummers can explore an array of genres including Afro-Cuban, West-African, and Brazilian-Caribbean styles. Workshops run on Tuesday evenings between 7pm-9pm.

Don’t have any experience? A special beginner’s class is held on the first Tuesday of each month for anyone wanting to have a go. Next open session for newcomers on Tuesday 1 August from 7.30pm. $15 p.p

The classes are for those who want to discover their inner rhythm and creativity, learn new skills and be challenged, improve their coordination, muscle memory, flexibility, and overall well being while drumming to awesome music.

Friday May 27 from 3.30 pm to 4.30pm. The Beat Factor Drum Group will be part of a special launch presented by Hobsons Bay City Council at the Altona Meadows Library. Guest speakers and lots of fun for the family, with refreshments, face paining and African and Brazilian drumming performance from us as usual.

The Beat Factor Drum Group have been invited to be part of this special combined event presented by Wyndham City Council at the Point Cook Town Centre. Drumming For All Ages

drum & dance at Point Cook Pop up park performance

On February 28, the Beat Factor Drum Group were joined on stage with The Astara Belly Dancers for a joint performance on a number of drum pieces from Middle-eastern to Caribbean/Samba style. The special FriYay event event and sponsored by the Wyndham City council and co-hosted by the Point Cook Pop Up Park. A great night of entertainment was enjoyed by the community and a great contribution from all the other local artists as well Rod – Ensemble Director – Beat Factor Music
