Creatives Catch-Up
Music in Wyndham

It was a great night on May 2025, at the Creatives Catch Up, with a focus on music in Wyndham. Hearing from special guest speaker Fiona Duncan, newly appointed CEO of Music Victoria, and 2024 Wyndham City Council Creative Development Grant recipient Rod Pilois. Host and MC Penny Larkins went through some short question and answer segment with Rod on his achievements and challenges he faced along his creative journey. Rod performed original songs he wrote with support from a creative development grant.
Music-makers and creatives of all genres, styles and levels of experience were invited to this celebration gathering. Those that came along, met with like-minded local creatives, and learnt more about music in Wyndham.
Rod performed two of his work in progress for his upcoming EP, the title track ‘Cajon Blue’ and the percussive and crowd pleaser, ‘African Beat’
