A fun and enjoyable day was had by all who attended The Annex Arts Centre, Wyndham Arts & Cultural Centre, Watton St, Werribee on April 6th. Rod performed some Latin-Jazz on the guitar, some cover standards and some of his own compositions. This was followed by a percussion performance and an interactive drum workshop to finish up the program, enabling everyone to join in and be part of the performance. All drums were supplied by Beat Factor. This was the last performance and workshop in this series of free monthly workshops conducted by Rod – as Beat Factor Solo since starting in September 2023.

It was a great way to help celebrate the school holidays, week- end for coffee, lunch and entertainment on a Saturday afternoon. Light refreshments were kindly provided by Wyndham City. The weather was kind to us on the day, and the event was held on the outside decking of the Wyndham Arts & Culture Centre. It was great to connect to the local community, with passers-by joining in the workshop as well.

Thanks to Wyndham Arts and Events for supporting me in my vision for the monthly performance and workshop at The Annex arts Space, I hope to do more work for Wyndham City in the future and help share my music and skills to the wider community.
