Whether drumming is your passion, career, therapy or just your favourite hobby, we can help you take your playing to the next stage.

Private Music lessons in Drums, provides the best way to learn and improve on your technique and skills on the instrument. Learn at your own pace. All styles and levels are covered and taught by experienced and qualified music teacher.

Since 2005, Beat Factor Music has provided private Drum Kit, Percussion tuition to residents in the Wyndham and Hobson’s Bay area in Melbourne.

Lessons are available in all styles and techniques and open to students of all ages and skill levels. Our private lessons are conducted in Beat Factor’s fully equipped teaching Studios, with a choice of acoustic and electronic instruments. Certificate and Advanced courses also available. VIT Registered, working with children permit.

Unfortunately, due to the current lockdown restrictions in Metropolitan Melbourne, the classes are on hold for face to face. On-line zoom classes available for those interested while the lockdown is in place. Please contact us if this is of interest to you.

Have your playing recorded in our fully equipped studio for sharing with family and friends.

Your own drum recordings can be used as a learning reference of your progress, or it can be used as a music demo to gain work in bands and studio work.

We encourage students to:

  • learn how to read music
  • learn to read a drum chart
  • perform a song using a drum chart
  • Listen and analyze various drumming styles
  • Apply various styles to their drumming skills.
  • Apply their own creative skills in songs
  • Compose their own drum pieces
